Temporary Position – HR Assistant

Purpose of the Role:

The Human Resources Assistant will be recruited to assist in updating the KMH staff HR files

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in updating the KMH staff HR files Ensuring all files are correctly labeled and stored.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
  • Help maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Participate in employee engagement activities and assist in organizing company events.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Any other lawful duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Sheets.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
