We are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:

POSITION: SAFETY HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT INTERN

LOCATION: LUSAKA

CONTRACT: SIX MONTHS INTERSHIP

Reporting to the SHE Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

Assisting in managing site maintenance contractors

Assisting in managing site contractors, licenses and Permits

Assisting in managing site access control

Assisting with Implementation of the occupational health, safety and environmental legislation in the work place

Apply occupational health, safety and environmental principles

Assist with Health, Safety and Environment with Audit Scores (NOSA, KORE and Legal Compliance)

Assist with Building/Site Maintenance response time.

Assist with General site maintenance.

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

Grade 12 Certificate

Diploma or Degree in Occupation Health and Safety/Environmental Management

Good leadership potential and Analytical problem solver

Self-starter and able to communicate effectively in the workplace.
