ABOUT US

We are company involved in the local manufacturing of furniture using local talent and resources. We make home furniture, install cabinetry in offices and commercial spaces and do a variety of wood working projects-both indoor and outdoor.

We are looking for a friendly salesperson to assist customers in our store or at our production site (factory outlet). The salesperson is responsible for greeting customers, helping them find items in the store or factory outlet, and ringing up purchases. To be successful as our salesperson you must have excellent communication skills. A good salesperson meets sales objectives while remaining polite and helpful to customers.

SALESPERSON RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with customers on stock purchases both on-site and off-site
  • Help customers make purchases
  • Check for stock for customers and ensure customer orders are met.
  • Provide customers with information about items.
  • Ring up purchases.
  • Elevate complaints to management.
  • Keep track of inventory assigned for sale.

SALESPERSON REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate or Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or any commercial discipline
  • Experience in marketing, commerce or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ready to long work hours, including weekends.
  • Basic mathematic skills.
  • Prior experience in retail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Motivation to work through busy shifts.
