Varun Beverages Zambia Ltd a leading Beverage manufacturing company situated at plot No. 37426, Mungwi Road in Heavy Industrial Area, Lusaka is URGENTLY looking to recruit suitably qualified individual to fill the position of STORES ASSISTANT x 1.
Department : Stores – Beverage
Reporting to: Stores Manager -Beverage
JOB SUMMARY AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Able to work independently.
- Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
- Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
- Fueling diesel and petrol for employees
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
- Daily checklist and ensure issue slips are in order
- Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels, maintain inventory control and housekeeping.
- Responsible for the issuance of materials and supplies to all departments in the organization
- Coordinate the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.
- Fresher’s (Graduates)
- Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials.
- Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
- Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
