Merchandiser

We are seeking to hire a driven and devoted Merchandiser. In the role of a Merchandiser, you will have a vital responsibility in making sure that our products are presented in an appealing manner, priced accurately, and easily accessible to our cherished customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently stock and organise retail store shelves..
• Provide excellent customer service by actively engaging with customers, enhancing their product knowledge and promoting sales.
• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and stocking new inventory.
• Work closely with the sales team to execute promotional initiatives
• Optimise customer interest and sales volume through effective product displays, while also removing expired, damaged, or subpar items.
• Ensure accurate pricing and labelling of products.
• Place timely orders in accordance with the store’s ordering schedule and adhere to the prescribed ordering protocols.
• Assume complete responsibility for stock management within the store.

Key Qualifications, Qualities and Competences

• Full grade 12 certificate
• Diploma or Certificate in marketing or any business related field is an added advantage.
• Proven working Experience in merchandising
• Up-to-date with the latest Merchandising trends and practices
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
