Emerging Cooking Solutions (Zambia) Limited, trading as “SupaMoto”, is a Zambian/Swedish joint venture, introducing clean burning modern cook-stoves and renewable cooking fuel pellets made from waste biomass. Our locally produced pellets are cheaper than charcoal and the cooking solution performs like a gas stove. Our systems have a built in Pay as You Go (PAYGO)-mechanism and all payments for our products are made through Mobile Money. The positive environmental, socio-economic, and macro-level impact of our solutions is immense. We truly have a solution for the dilemma of rapid deforestation and disproportionately high cooking fuel costs for low-income people.

Job Title: Call Center Representative

Type: Contract

Location: Kalundu, Lusaka

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Answering and making calls to clients to address their needs, complaints, or other issues with SupaMoto products.
  • Educating clients on the use of SupaMoto products and payment methods.
  • Managing relationships with clients and other call center team members.
  • Resolving queries from SupaMoto customers, sales representatives, Lead generators and escalating unresolved problems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Certificate or Diploma in Customer Care or any related field.
  • Fluent in Lunda, Luvale, Bemba and Nyanja. Any other local languages will be an added.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in relevant Computer applications (Word and excel)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately.
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills.
  • Ability to learn fast and adapt.
  • Call Center experience is an added advantage.
