Yalelo is in search of a highly motivated, dynamic self-starter to join our team as an HR Graduate Trainee. This exciting opportunity is available within our Production HR team, located in Siavonga.

As an HR Graduate Trainee, you will have the valuable opportunity to work closely under the guidance of our HR Support Coordinator. In this role, you will gain hands-on, direct experience in various aspects of human resources management. This includes, but is not limited to, recruitment, employee life cycle administration, performance management, compensation and benefits, as well as disciplinary case management.

The Right Fit candidate will:

  • Handle junior employee records, ensuring correct and complete data is stored on the file (Physical and electronic records)
  • Support with payroll inputs and payroll updates.
  • Support with induction of new employees and conducting training on company policies and procedures.
  • Support in preparing junior contract employees.
  • Resolve employee queries relating to health and safety and welfare among others.
  • Monitor employee attendance and performance.
  • Assist with coordinating HR projects.

The Essentials:

  • Degree in Human Resources/Administration or any related field .
  • Member of ZIHRM
  • Must be willing to relocate to Siavonga
  • Must intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneDrive.
