Nurse Tutors

The School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Lusaka is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Nurse Tutors in the Nursing Department on full time basis.

Description

• The Nurse Tutor shall be responsible for providing leadership, management and administration of teaching, learning and tutorial arrangements. More specifically, s/he will:
• Manage the work while working closely with the Principal Tutor/Coordinator Nursing, and other University officers;
• Undertake such other administrative roles as the University shall determine at the time of appointment or subsequently;
• To teach undergraduate students in the field of Nursing Sciences in the courses assigned;
• Will assume other responsibilities, other than teaching up to an amount determined by immediate Supervisor;
• Have responsibility for managing the Research for undergraduates students;

Qualifications

• Two (2) Years uninterrupted working experience in the Clinical area.
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing/Midwifery Degree holder
• Certificate of Registration of Bachelors and Masters Degrees
• Valid General Nursing Council of Zambia Practicing Licence

Method of Application

Additional Postgraduate Degree in Nursing Sciences or research such as MSc in Nursing, MPH, and PhD will be an added advantage.
