The University of Lusaka is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to join the Imaging Team as a Radiographer to provide a vital role in providing diagnostic imaging services to the patients and contributing to their well- being.

Radiographer

Summary of Job Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, Mammogram and more.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and understanding of patients during examinations.
• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art radiographic equipment.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, students, and researchers to provide accurate imaging services.
• Participate in teaching and training programs for radiography students and medical residents.
• Maintain strict adherence to ethical, safety, and quality standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Radiography from a recognized Institution.
• Fully registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia.
• Knowledge and Practical skill of Ultra Sound examinations is a prerequisite Practical knowledge of CT scan examinations is an added advantage.
• Minimum of Two (2) years relevant work experience.
• Experience in both the clinical and technical aspects of medical imaging practice
• Knowledge of current developments and world trends in medical imaging.
