The Company has a vacancy for the position of Marketing Manager and is now Inviting suitably qualified and ambitious Zambians to apply and be considered for the position. This is a Middle Management position reporting to the Director of Commercial and is based at the Head Office in Lusaka.
To implement among others, development, establishment, and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising, and promotional activities of the organization. It also includes business development and handling public relations and communication of the company.
a) Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
b) Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
c) Analysis of customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information.
d) Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
e) Develop and expand marketing platforms including social media platforms.
f) Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects.
g) monitor, review, and report on all marketing activities and results.
h) Determined to manage the marketing budget.
i) Deliver marketing activities within agreed budget.
j) report on return on investment and key performance metrics.
k) Develop pricing strategy
l) Create marketing and sales presentations.
m) liaise with other media houses and advertising agencies.
n) collaborate with the sales function.
o) monitor industry best practices.
p) Develop an internal and external Communications strategy to Increase staff knowledge and awareness of policies, decisions and events and for engagement with other stakeholders.
q) Provide Public Relations expertise to the Company
r) Draft and alignment of the status quo of external communication of the public perception of the organization in the country and in alignment with the management strategy and the fundraising strategy implementation and evaluation.
s) Generate Corporate Social Responsibility Relationships that benefit the company as a good corporate citizen.
t) Maintain ongoing brand integrity via consistent application of the brand guidelines.
u) Liaise with and manage the relationship with external agencies Le.. Public Relations and Advertising agencies.
v) Organize constant orientation of staff on the brand.
w) On-going content management of the website and social media in Liaison with Online team
Qualification and Experience
a) Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 O’ levels including Mathematics and English
b) Minimum of Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, ZW Certified Professional Marketing Programme, ZIM Professional. Diploma in Marketing or Chartered Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing (CIMS).
c) Good communication and interpersonal skills.
d) At least 5 years practical experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
e) High integrity and honesty.
f) Must have a clean driving licence.
