Role Overview: As the University Guidance Counsellor, you will play a vital role in guiding and advising our students through the university admissions process. You will work closely with students, parents, and faculty to provide individualized counselling, assess career goals, and assist in identifying suitable higher education institutions. The successful candidate will also collaborate with school administrators to organize university fairs, workshops, and information sessions to keep students informed about various academic and career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized guidance and support to students in their university selection process.
• Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and career aspirations to make informed decisions.
• Facilitate workshops and sessions on university admissions requirements, scholarships, and financial aid.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of universities, college entrance exams, and admission deadlines.
• Liaise with universities and colleges to establish strong partnerships and track application progress.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of required application documents, including recommendation letters and transcripts.
• Conduct academic counseling sessions to ensure students meet university entrance criteria.
• Collaborate with school faculty to align the academic curriculum with university admission requirements.
• Keep accurate records of student university applications and outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in university guidance counselling, preferably in an international school setting.
• In-depth knowledge of international university admissions processes and requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and universities.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple university applications and deadlines.
• Familiarity with various career assessment tools and resources.
• Ability to stay informed about developments in higher education and scholarship opportunities.
• Adherence to the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.
