Director of Planning and Development-3 Years Contract

Department: Planning & Development

Overall purpose of the job

To manage infrastructure development projects and coordinate the formulation and monitoring of the Corporate Plan in order to ensure sustainable operations and achievement of the company’s objectives.

Key responsibilities among others include:

• Managing effectively the preparation of bankable project proposals in order to facilitate resource mobilization
• Managing infrastructure development projects in order to develop the Company’s capability to meet the demand for water supply and Sanitation services.
• Coordinating effectively the development of a Strategic Plan and Master plan in order to guide Company activities and investments.
• Managing effectively monitoring and evaluation of overall Company performance to identify gaps and facilitate implementation of remedial measures.
• Managing effectively maintenance of Company buildings in order to prolong their lifespan and provide a conducive working environment

Qualifications and experience

• Full form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
• 10 years with 5 years at management level
• A valid SADC Driving License will be an added advantage
