Topfloor's client in the agriculture sector seeks to recruit an Accountant who is curious, bold, innovative and wishes to grow his/her career and be part of a winning team​.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledgers and performs the complete accounting cycle in compliance with established practices and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Posting of invoices into the accounting system.
  • Posting of Cash book into the accounting system.
  • Assist in writing of payment vouchers.
  • Assist in analyzing and posting of employee expense reports.
  • Assist in accruals and prepayments monthly.
  • Adhere to internal control policies and procedures.
  • Analyze data and translates into meaningful information.
  • Provide management and financial statement users with relevant, comparable, and accurate data on which to base decisions.
  • Continuously improve and serve as a resource in their area of responsibility.

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Full grade 12 certificate
  • Diploma in Accountancy
  • 2 to 3 Years work experience
  • Experience in the Agriculture industry will be an added advantage
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Attention to detail especially with numerical data.
  • Excellent communication skills.
