The group of Trident Schools comprises Trident Prep Solwezi, Trident Prep Kalumbila, Trident Prep Lusaka, and Trident College Solwezi. Trident first opened its doors to pioneering pupils and parents in September 2013 to serve the local copper mining community's educational needs. The group continued to expand and currently has 500 pupils across the 4 schools.
Trident Schools forms part of the Trident Group of schools operated by Educore Services, a leading provider of independent schooling in Zambia. The curriculum in all schools is strongly focused on the Cambridge curriculum from pre-school to 6th Form.
ADVERT: LEAD TEACHER – SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS (SEN)
Start Date: 1st January 2024
Trident seeks a suitably qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic educator to lead the SEN Department across all schools. The appointee’s base school will be Trident Prep Solwezi, where they will spend most of their time initially.
The appointee will report to the Executive Head through the Head of Trident Prep Solwezi.
Primary Purpose of the Job
To provide a forward-thinking, progressive approach to identifying and dealing with pupils who need support because of barriers to learning. Secondly, the job involves leading a group of SEN teachers across all the schools to develop a
collaborative and comprehensive approach to the children in our care.
The preferred candidate will be an excellent counsellor to children and teens and lead the Trident group’s counselling approach. The chosen candidate will work closely with colleagues in the schools and wider parent community to develop an outstanding SEN department by sharing good practices and ensuring outstanding learning outcomes for pupils in their care.
