WORKSHOP FOREMAN – HUNTLEY CHISAMBA (1)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

• Training employees and monitoring work activity.
• Creating and managing employees’ schedule.
• Oversees daily work of employees.
• Warns, disciplines or terminates employees not working to company standards.
• Assigning duties to workers.
• Assisting in repairs, maintenance or other tasks.
• Reviewing work completed to ensure it is up to quality standards.
• Enforcing all health and safety policies in the work area.
• Ensuring that the deadlines are met.
• Assisting employees in onsite health or safety emergencies
• Addressing and resolving customer issues and complaints.
• Inspecting and cleaning equipment.
• Fixing equipment and machinery as necessary.
• Ensuring, that the workplace is clean, organized and free of dangerous or hazardous materials.
• Ensuring all quality controls are carried out on all vehicles after any maintenance or repairs carried out in the workshop.
• Investigating and reporting any rework returned to the workshop.
• Any other duties as assigned by the manager.

The Required Qualifications are:

• Full Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits.
• Diploma/Craft Certificate in Auto Mechanic or related qualification.
• 5 years’ experience as a Workshop Foreman.
• Computer literate
