Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce is the largest Technical Education and Vocational Training (TEVET) Institution under the Ministry of Technology and Science. The institution is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position:
3.0 Human Resource & Administration
Main Duties
• Assists in the implementation of Human Resource and Succession Plans to ensure that the College has the right number of staff, with the right skill mix and placed in the right jobs at the right time.
• Assists in the recruitment and induction new members of staff.
• Assists in the interpretation and implementation of the College’s terms and conditions of service, management decisions and policies relating to employment, compensation. training and development and staff welfare.
• Assists in the administration of the College’s Disciplinary Code and Grievance Procedures in order to maintain discipline and industrial harmony.
• Assists in the implementation of the College’s staff welfare policies and programmes to boost employee morale and motivation, to enhance productivity
• Assists to implement and monitor the APAS performance management system at the College.
Qualification
• Full Form V/ Grade 12 Certificate
• Degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration or Social Sciences Member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
• 2 years of traceable experience
Attributes
• Must possess good communication, supervisory and negotiation skills High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Sound knowledge of Zambian Labour laws
• Sound computer skills (Word processing, spreadsheets and internet) Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
