Stores Keeper

Varun Beverages Zambia Ltd a leading Beverage manufacturing company situated at plot No. 37426, Mungwi Road in Heavy Industrial Area, Lusaka is URGENTLY looking to recruit a suitably qualified individual to fill the position of STORES KEEPER x 1.

Department: Stores – Beverage

Reporting to: Stores Manager -Beverage

Job Summary and Knowledge

• Able to work independently.
• Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
• Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
• Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling supplies
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to account for reimbursements and record keeping
• Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels, and maintain inventory control and housekeeping.
• Responsible for the issuance of materials and supplies to all departments in the organization
• Coordinate the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
• proper inventory management Familiarity with standard concepts

Requirements and Qualifications

Must have a minimum of a Diploma in Inventory Management or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.

+5 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping.

Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials.

Knowledge of proper inventory management

Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment

Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
