IT Developer – Products & Promotions

Airtel Networks Zambia Plc is currently recruiting for a IT Developer – Products & Promotions to support the business initiatives through the development and delivery of products and promotions

Core responsibilities are:

• New Products & Promotions Development and other GSM-related projects.
• Existing Products Support.
• Manage projects for all new system requests– perform business analysis function, document, and sign off all necessary documents – Change Request, Scope of Work, Prepare and track Project plan, regular update – weekly.
• Security and Compliance with Airtel.
• Be the subject matter expert on products and promotions technical solutions.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:

• University degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or other related disciplines.
• Professional qualification in Project Management Techniques.
• Professional qualification or certificates in programming and database administration.
• Project management Skills.

Relevant Experience:

• At least 3 years of hands-on working experience in the telecom industry.
• Experience in SQL, database management, system integration, application development, and deployment.

Other Requirements

• Demonstrated success in managing multiple services simultaneously.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Successful background with stakeholder/partner management.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision (Dynamic and self-motivated).
• Must be a member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia.
