Project Coordinator

Role overview

The purpose of this position is to manage various aspects of commercial construction projects in the Quick-Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. The incumbent will work closely with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the projects are completed on time and within budget.

Duties & responsibilities

• Be highly involved from planning, pre-construction, construction and through to post-construction phases
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, vendors, and key team members of the project team.
• Ensure compliance with SLA terms and conditions of vendors.
• Obtain permits and licences from authorities for construction sites.
• Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare regular progress reports.
• Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards

Requirements

• Degree or better in Quantity Surveying, Building/Construction Management or Civil/Structural Engineering
• Registered and affiliated with relevant institutions in Zambia
• 5 – 10 years experience in a similar role, QSR projects will be an added advantage
• Competent in Google Workspace/MS Office.
• Valid driver’s licence.
