Reporting: you will report to the managing director, provided that when necessary, you also report to the board and/or shareholders

Job purpose:

• Responsible for the financial health of muz milling company
• Producing financial reports and developing financial strategies based on the financial status of muz milling company
• Financially guiding senior management in making sound business decisions in the long and short term.

Job duties:

• Manage the day to day financial operations within muz milling company, such as payroll, invoicing, debt, credit and other transactions
• Manage and oversee the finance department
• Prepare, manage and oversee tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
• Seek out methods for minimizing financial risks to muz milling company
• Track muz milling company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
• Research and analyse financial reports
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior management to aid long term and short term decision-making
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, senior management, and clients in formal meetings
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software used for financial purposes
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures of muz milling company for the approval of the board
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
• Any other duties as may be assigned by superior
