Global Health Corps Since 2009, Global Health Corps (GHC) has built a network of 1150+ next-gen leaders committed to transforming health systems. Through a robust fellowship and alumni program, GHC seeds the health sector with innovative and resilient young leaders and invests in them to grow and drive systems to change across their careers. GHC serves as a critical talent pipeline for its partners, an entry point to global health for non-clinical leaders who join as fellows, and a leadership accelerator for alumni and their networks. GHC leaders are concentrated in Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, and the U.S., but the network has a truly global reach across 40+ countries and 450+ health organizations. We seek a highly detail-oriented, creative problem-solver who will work closely with members of the Central Programs Team to assist with a range of projects involved in supporting Global Health Corps’ fellowship program. The different areas that comprise GHC’s global programs include: fellowship admissions; curriculum design; fellow retreat/workshop planning; and partner organization selection. Primarily focusing on the Fellowship Admissions process, the intern will learn how to apply their skills in an entrepreneurial, non-profit setting. The intern will gain a better understanding of non-profit management and be better prepared to work in project and systems management, both in the non-profit sector and beyond. In addition to working across our central programs team, the intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with staff on other teams and participate in regular team and staff meetings.
