Job Description

Purpose

The Collateral Team Leader is responsible to act as the custodian of the bank’s collateral by safekeeping all collateral documentation The role provides a variety of service to a vast spectrum of customers with different requirements and needs to achieve business objectives The role is responsible ensure that the quality of the Bank’s collateral is of a high standard, legally binding and protected in a safe environment and status quo is maintained The Collateral Team Leader is responsible to manage and develop a team

Experience and qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification – National Diploma in Banking focusing on Risk Management
  • Preferred Qualification – Bcom Risk Management or B Degree in Law
  • Experience – Minimum of 3 years experience within a financial institution, focusing on regulatory, legislative, risk and documentation administration
