Job Description

This position is responsible for interacting with existing and new customers, negotiating outstanding payments, ensure that customer accounts are monitored to a high standard on a continuous basis and manage all customer account queries. The person will need to be target driven, motivated, and demonstrate negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops overall corporate policies regarding collections of overdue/delinquent accounts.
  • Ensures all collections policies are followed.
  • Contact customers by phone to negotiate and discuss payment strategies
  • Ensure compliance and customer focused collections
  • Ensuring that accurate records are recorded and maintained in the relevant systems
  • Identifying and understanding customer’s history and current circumstances and evaluating appropriate payment proposals.
  • Maximizing collection and collating high quality dispute information.
  • Ability to work a large volume of accounts
  • Achieve and surpass weekly and monthly collection targets
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as designated by Branch Manager

Desired Profile:

  • Must have Collections exposure
  • Understanding of banking Industry
  • Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • High level of business orientation and understanding
  • Good planning and understanding of Client Management
  • Quick learner

Qualifications:

  • Preferable Diploma in Finance or Any Business-related Qualification.
  • Residents of respective locations are encouraged to apply
