We Are Hiring – Sales Officer
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic sales office to be stationed at our Lusaka office.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Maintain a fully stocked store
- Maintain a daily inventory of stock
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Recommend and display items that match customer needs
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Enter daily sales and purchases/expenses in the appropriate ledgers
- Generate daily and monthly sales report with analysis and recommendations
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate must have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture/Marketing-related field of study from a recognized college or university.
- A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience in Sales, Aquaculture or activities in an Enterprise Business setting.
- Solid knowledge of the channel and indirect sales; direct sales experience desirable.
- 3rd party partner management will be an added advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and numerical skills with strong business acumen.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- A self-motivated, multi-tasking individual with minimum supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, communication and organization skills with a high demonstrable level of integrity.
- Excellent written and oral English language skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Highly proficient in all MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
- Willingness to work long hours as and when required in accordance with business requirements.
- Creative and a forward thinker.
- Ability to operate in a performance-driven organization
