Job Purpose;

The Procurement Coordinator will manage all sourcing needs for the Restaurants and help to identify where aggregated spending might offer better value for money and will also work closely with the other key executive members on administering supplier contracts and assisting in the implementation of supplier contracts.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement processes, including review of purchase requisitions, request for quotations, supplier selection, negotiations, purchase and delivery forms
  • Provide a strategic, efficient and flexible procurement service which will deliver optimum value for money, cost savings and the best quality of service
  • Handle procurement activities such as the tender process, supplier relationships and contract management for goods and services
  • Oversee procurement processes, including review of purchase requisitions, request for quotations, supplier selection, negotiations, purchase and delivery forms
  • Management of leases, contracts and agreements for services and goods.
  • Ensure that Company/Restaurant procurement policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Follow-up local purchase orders, payments, and delivery confirmation.
  • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.

Primary Areas of Accountability:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or Advanced Diploma in Purchasing and Supply (Level 6) or Equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years’ practical experience in Public Procurement Sector
  • Must have Procurement experience in the Hospitality Sector/Industry
  • Must have worked in the same or similar position with a Top Hotel/Lodge or Well Established Restaurant with huge procurements
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Negotiating Skills.
  • Contract Management Skills
  • Must be a member of ZIPS
