The University of Lusaka is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up the positions of Lecturer in the School of Law on full-time basis in the following fields:

• Company Law
• International Trade Law
• Administrative Law

Qualifications:

To be considered for the above mentioned courses, one should have the following qualifications:

• Master of Laws with a bias in any of the above mentioned areas.
• Bachelor of Laws (with a minimum of credit).
• LLD in the relevant field is an added advantage.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching/Lecturing Methodology.
• Must be conversant with and easily adaptable to the Zambian Law.
• At least three (3) years experience of lecturing at the tertiary level.
• Three (3) years of industrial experience.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance course outlines and teaching materials for the assigned courses.
• Teach the students and assess their work.
• Supervise students’ research work.
• Conduct research and publish scholarly works.

Key Qualities and skills:

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and strong intellectual ability.
• Ability to research and create new knowledge.
• Should be ambitious, innovative, and a team player.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be articulate, relatable and have strong interpersonal skills.
• High level of planning and organizing skills.
• Good computer skills including knowledge of educational digital software and platforms.
