Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Digital Banking Division under the Digital Sales Department to be based in Lusaka, Solwezi and Mansa:-
• Responsible for setting up and accelerating growth of an active Agency banking network in the assigned region
• Accountable for all related financial and service KPI’s.
Under the supervision of the Head Agency Sales, the following are among the Job Key Responsibilities:-
Recruit agents in line with the required, execute agent onboarding strategy and activate and deploy agents.
Sensitise the agents on commission structure and payment dates.
Ensure correct KYC is completed and submitted for onboarding purposes and assign agents to the relationship coordinator.
Responsible for regional revenue performance of the Agent Banking sales channel.
Conduct quarterly market sizing and provide initiatives to stay ahead of market and increase numeric agent distribution in a given region.
Drive visibility of all agent outlets and reward program in the region.
Manage end to end agent communication and ensure agents receive all relevant training.
Provide weekly and monthly management dashboards for Agent Banking sales business.
Drive agent transaction in line with the required monthly mark per agent.
Manage and analyse the performance of agents and aid in recommendations to improve performance.
Devise and execute tactics to increase agents’ transactions.
Own and aid in the resolution of POS/Phone related challenges.
Manage queries from agents, internal and external customers within the agreed time frames.
Conduct continuous agent training on operations and product knowledge and ensure implementation and support advice.
Liaise with other units within the Bank to ensure that all requirements for agents are made available (POS, SIMs, Phones, Branding, Rolls, Conference facilities).
Conduct regular Regional agent visits with a view to find areas where support is required.
Build business relationships with agents through effective calling and engagements.
Ensure proper and complete documentation and profiling of all agents recruited, exited or even suspended from operations in adherence to prudential guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience
Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects.
A University Degree/Diploma in a relevant subject.
A Diploma in Banking and Finance will be an added advantage.
At least three (3) years banking & Marketing experience and FMCG and Telecoms
Understanding of all Zanaco products and account opening, KYC, Cash and other Branch process requirements.
Understanding of relevant legislation e.g. KYC, Anti – Money laundering, Banking code.
Understanding of people policies and processes.
Demonstrated complaint handling and resolution skills Certifications.
