The holder of this position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.
Key Responsibilities
Stand in as HoD Security when needed
Security investigations
Security policies and procedures
Risk management
Assist with security budget and management thereof
Protocols and SOP’s
Arrange quarterly samples for Ministry of Mines/export.
Oversee and manage three (3) CCTV control rooms
Continuous training and re-training of 30 CCTV operators to ensure that access/egress points are efficiently monitored,
Physical security measures for the company’s satellite sites.
Manage three security contractors in conjunction with HoD Security
Loss control management.
Weekly fence reports
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications
Education: B-tech IV in Security and Risk Management
Professional Qualification: B-tech IV in Security and Risk Management
Experience
Five (5) years security and risk management experience

Proven experience as security manager or similar position
Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
