Kwame Nkrumah University invites application letters from qualified and sufficiently motivated members of the public to fill the following vacancies:
Responsibilities
To maintain and develop network and support adherence to ICT policies, including those relating to safeguarding and internet usage, as well as maintenance of ICT software, hardware and related equipment, and providing support to staff and pupils to ensure administration and learning outcomes are maximized.
To maintain and develop network for the University
To support adherence to ICT policies, including those relating to safeguarding and internet usage
To ensure dedicated ICT areas are ready for use each day and that they are in good working order at the end of each day
To check hardware regularly and reporting faults to ICT Manager if any
To participate in the collection, collation, processing and storage of data in order to comply with institutional reporting requirements
To maintain a comprehensive database of all support requests and allocate jobs to appropriate staff
To check hardware regularly, repairing simple faults and reporting more complicated faults to ICT Manager
To support teaching staff/students in technical aspects of ICT
To resolve hardware/software technical issues
To carry out desktop publishing procedures
To check and maintain stocks of ICT consumables
Qualifications
Must have a Grade 12 Certificate with at least 05 Credits that must include Mathematics and English Language
Must have BSC degree in Computer Science or IT related field Must have networking experience or CISCO certification
Must have server administration and disaster recovery management experience
Must have at least 02 years of practical experience in IT Capacity to work with minimum supervision
Must be between 25 and 35 years old
