URC seeks technical experts for the anticipated multi-year USAID-funded Evidence for Health project in Zambia.
This project aims to strengthen the national Health Management Information System (HMIS) owned and managed by the Government of Zambia’s Ministry of Health, improve monitoring, evaluation and research capacities within key government and non-governmental partners and expand the evidence base for existing approached to health programming in malaria, nutrition, family planning, maternal and child health and HIV.
Director of Finance and Administration
Salary: Commensurate with required experience and qualifications
Reports to: Chief of Party
URC is currently seeking a qualified Director of Finance and Administration to provide financial and administrative oversight and direction for Evidence for Health who will:
Oversee and lead all administrative, logistical and financial management for project
Ensure that all USAID financial management and reporting requirements are met
Responsible for budgeting process, procurement, inventory, and forecasting
Work with COP to ensure efficient functioning of financial processes and maintain adequate internal control
Liaise with other key technical personnel and local staff to ensure smooth financial processes are upheld
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, finance, etc.).
Seven 7-10 years of experience in finance.
Significant experience with USG and USAID financial procedures, rules and regulations.
At least 3 years of experience supervising a finance team.
